Overview
Digital and design marketing for tool and equipment hire service within London and the Home Counties.
Brief
The Hireman, my client at the Core Agency, was led by their mascot ‘Scribs’ in terms of marketing. A small cartoon construction worker that was the forefront of every email campaign, social media, website and more. My work with them relied heavily on Illustrator to shape him into the poses and scenes that were relevant, from wobbling on ladders to driving the company van.
Challenges Solved
My experience with Illustrator greatly developed with The Hireman, as a design would start with a sketch, followed by digital lineart and colour in vector format, and world-building in Photoshop. Keeping the style consistent for all possible settings was something I quickly adapted to and enjoyed.
